Ukraine radio online
Ukrainian radio changed profoundly over the past decade. Language quotas moved the dial decisively toward Ukrainian-language music, and a generation of Ukrainian pop, rock and electronic artists grew into the space that opened up. A station list from 2014 and one from today barely resemble each other.
What to expect
Public radio carries news, culture and classical channels, while commercial FM runs contemporary Ukrainian and international pop. There is also a strong tradition of folk and ethno broadcasting, and several stations dedicated to Ukrainian rock, which has been a serious genre here since the late Soviet period.
