1. Introduction and Acceptance

1.1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Radio Compass mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old if required by the laws of your country or the EU/EEA) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

1.3 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App and/or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of the updated Terms means that you accept them.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 Radio Streaming Service

Radio Compass provides access to internet radio stations from around the world. The App allows you to, among other things:

The App uses public and/or third-party sources, including Radio Browser API and individual radio broadcasters, to retrieve station metadata and streaming URLs.

2.2 No Ownership of Streams

Radio Compass does not own or control the radio streams or their content. All audio streams and related content are provided by third-party radio stations and/or aggregators. Licensing, copyright and content responsibility remain with those third parties.

3. User Accounts and Authentication

3.1 Account Creation

3.3 Account Deactivation and Deletion

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

  1. Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
  2. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, user accounts, servers or networks.
  3. Circumvent, disable or interfere with security or technical protection measures.
  4. Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data or overload the service.
  5. Record, capture or redistribute radio streams where this is prohibited by law or by the rights holders.
  6. Reverse engineer or decompile the App except where allowed by mandatory law.
  7. Use the App to transmit malware, spam or other harmful or disruptive content.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe that you violate these rules.

4A. Premium Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

4A.1 Free and Premium Features

The core functionality of Radio Compass is available free of charge. Some features may be offered as part of an optional paid subscription ("Premium"). The exact list of premium features, available plans, prices and billing periods is shown in the App at the time of purchase and may change from time to time.

4A.2 Billing

All purchases and subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing (on Android) or the Apple App Store (on iOS), in accordance with the terms of those platforms. Subscription entitlements are verified via RevenueCat. We do not collect, store or process your payment card or banking details.

4A.3 Auto-Renewal

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, premium subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your store account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4A.4 Cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time through your store account settings:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access to premium features until that date.

4A.5 Refunds

Refunds are governed by the policies of the store of purchase (Google Play or Apple App Store) and any applicable consumer-protection laws. Refund requests must generally be submitted directly to the relevant store; we cannot issue store refunds on your behalf. Where mandatory consumer law in your country grants you a right of withdrawal, that right applies regardless of this clause.

4A.6 Changes to Pricing and Plans

We may add, modify, remove or reprice premium plans and features. Price changes applicable to existing subscribers will be communicated in advance as required by the relevant store and applicable law, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.

4A.7 Restrictions

Premium entitlements are personal to the account that purchased them and may not be sold, transferred or shared. We may suspend or revoke entitlements obtained through fraud, chargebacks, or violation of these Terms or the applicable store rules.

4B. Optional Third-Party Account Integrations

4B.1 Last.fm

The App offers an optional integration with Last.fm. If you choose to connect your Last.fm account, the App may, at your action, send "scrobbles" (track plays) and "loves" (liked tracks) to your Last.fm profile. Use of Last.fm is governed by Last.fm's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time in the App settings or revoke access at last.fm/settings/applications.

4B.2 ListenBrainz

The App offers an optional integration with ListenBrainz (operated by MetaBrainz Foundation, Inc.). If you choose to connect your ListenBrainz account, you paste a personal User Token from your ListenBrainz profile and, while connected, the App may submit "listens" (track play history) to your profile. Use of ListenBrainz is governed by MetaBrainz's Social Contract and Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time in the App settings or revoke the token at listenbrainz.org/profile.

4B.3 Responsibility for Third-Party Accounts

Last.fm and ListenBrainz are operated by their respective providers, not by Virtomaster. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or behaviour of these services, nor for any data they collect or process about you in your account with them. If the third-party service changes its API, terms or availability, the corresponding feature in the App may stop working without prior notice.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Third-Party Content

All radio content (streams, music, programs, logos, station names and other media) is provided by third-party broadcasters and/or aggregators. Radio Compass does not guarantee:

If you believe that a station or content infringes your rights, please contact us at support@virtomaster.com. We will review your request and, where appropriate, remove or block access to that station within the App.

5.2 Our Intellectual Property

The App itself (including its design, code, logos, branding, text, and interface elements) is owned by Virtomaster or licensed to us. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on your personal device for your own non-commercial use.

If you provide us with feedback, ideas or suggestions regarding the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify and incorporate such feedback into the App or other products, without any obligation to you.

7. Data, Privacy and Analytics

8. Availability, Changes and Updates

8.1 Service Availability

From time to time we may release updates, bug fixes or new versions of the App. Some updates may be installed automatically. Certain features may stop working if you do not install the latest version.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the App and all content are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of:

You use the App at your own risk. If you are dissatisfied with the App, your sole remedy is to stop using it and, where applicable, uninstall it.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

10.1 Indirect Damages

We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10.2 Cap on Direct Damages

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of the App will not exceed the equivalent of 10 EUR, unless a higher limit is required by mandatory law.

10.3 Mandatory Rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence, or for fraud.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, the limitations will apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time. You can uninstall the App from your device and, where applicable, request account and data deletion as described in Section 3.3 and in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App (including your account) if:

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the App are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless the laws of your country of residence require otherwise.

12.2 Informal Resolution

Before starting any formal dispute process, we encourage you to contact us at support@virtomaster.com and explain your concern. We will try to resolve the issue informally where reasonably possible.

12.3 Courts

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, it will be submitted to the competent courts of Ukraine (for example, courts in Kyiv), unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide you with the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
