Delete your Radio Compass account and data

This page explains how you can delete your Radio Compass account and associated personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

1. Delete your data in the app

If you still have the app installed, the easiest way to request deletion is from inside the app:

  1. Open the Radio Compass app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap “Privacy”.
  4. Tap “Delete personal data”.
  5. Confirm your password.
  6. Confirm the deletion request on the screen.

This action will remove local data from your device immediately. Any cloud data (for example, favorites and preferences stored in Firebase) will be permanently deleted within 90 days from your deletion request.

2. Request account deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app or prefer email, you can request deletion by contacting our support:

Please include the following information in your message:

  • The email address you used in the app (for email/password sign-in or Google Sign-In).
  • That you want to delete your Radio Compass account and all associated data.

Subject: Radio Compass - Account deletion request

Hello,

I would like to delete my Radio Compass account and all associated personal data.

Account email: <your email address used in the app>

I understand that this action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Thank you.

For security reasons we may ask you to confirm that you own this email address or provide additional information to verify your identity before completing the deletion.

3. What happens when your account is deleted?

  • Your favorites and "super favorites" are removed from our cloud database.
  • Your account data and preferences are deleted from Firebase.
  • Authentication tokens are invalidated.
  • Local data on your device is removed when you use "Delete personal data" in the app or uninstall it.
  • Deletion timeline: All personal data will be permanently deleted within 90 days from the date of your deletion request.

Some aggregated or anonymized analytics data may be retained where it no longer allows us to identify you as an individual user, as described in our Privacy Policy.
