We also send a custom store_click event when you click a link to Google Play, recording
which marketing channel brought you. This measures campaign effectiveness; it contains no personal data.
The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google). Like any web server, it writes standard request logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent. These logs are managed by Google and are used for delivery, security and abuse prevention.
No names, no email addresses, no payment details, no precise location, no uploaded files. We do not run advertising networks, remarketing pixels or cross-site trackers.
Pages under /radiocompass/listen let you play internet radio directly in the browser.
Two things happen that are worth stating plainly:
The player stores your volume level and recently played stations in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is cleared when you clear site data.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal basis for analytics is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding and improving the site, balanced by the fact that the data is aggregated and cannot identify you. Delivering the pages you request is contractual necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Server logs follow Google's Firebase Hosting retention. We do not share, sell or rent visitor data. The only processors involved are:

Radio stations themselves are independent third parties. Their own privacy practices apply once your browser connects to their stream, and we have no control over them.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Because this website collects no identifiers that we can link back to you, we usually cannot locate "your" data on request — the practical remedy is the opt-out in section 4.2.

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
